Australia Bureau of Meteorology Issues Weather Forecast for Tomorrow

Australia’s national meteorological agency has issued an official weather forecast for the country for tomorrow, Saturday January 24, 2026. The forecast details expected conditions across multiple regions including temperature ranges, storms and dry areas.

The Bureau of Meteorology reports that Tropical Cyclone Luana is generating increased storms, rain and strong winds in northeastern Western Australia. Heavy rainfall is expected to extend into parts of the Top End and northern Queensland as a result of the system.

Dry and clearer conditions are forecast for southeastern Australia, including Sydney and Melbourne, with warmer temperatures expected during the daytime. Some inland areas may also experience higher temperatures and dry weather.

Isolated showers and unstable weather patterns are anticipated in parts of central and western Australia. These conditions reflect the influence of a tropical low and associated low pressure trough across interior regions.

No severe weather warnings beyond the cyclone-associated rain and winds have been officially announced for the remainder of the country for tomorrow. The Bureau continues to monitor conditions as the cyclone system evolves.
