German actress Stephanie Stumph has officially welcomed her second child, giving birth to a healthy baby boy on 12 September 2025 at a hospital in Dresden, Germany. The 41-year-old and her partner, a surgeon, confirmed the birth and are reported to be “overjoyed” as they begin life as a family of four.
Stumph, known for her long-running role in the ZDF crime series Der Alte, took a short maternal leave after the birth but has since returned to professional work, sharing that she plans to balance career and family commitments.
The actress and her partner already have an older son, and reports indicate that the couple and their newborn were discharged together from the clinic, marking the start of their post-hospital family life.
Stumph has been a familiar face on German television since childhood, with acting credits spanning more than two decades. She is also the daughter of German actor Wolfgang Stumph.
