Completed. The 2026 Golden Globe Awards ceremony concluded in Los Angeles after an evening in which trophies were formally presented across film and television categories, marking the official close of this year’s awards cycle segment. The event took place on January 2026 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the long-established venue for the Golden Globes.
The ceremony was organized by the Golden Globe Awards and brought together nominees, presenters, and industry representatives from international film and television sectors. Winners were announced following votes cast by accredited members responsible for selecting recipients in each category.
During the broadcast, awards were distributed for major motion picture achievements, including drama, musical or comedy, directing, acting, and screenplay categories. Television honors were also confirmed, covering scripted series, limited series, and performances by lead and supporting actors. All results announced during the ceremony were declared final at the conclusion of the event.
Organizers confirmed that the event proceeded as scheduled without interruption, with red carpet arrivals, formal presentations, and acceptance speeches forming part of the official program. Attendance included nominated performers, filmmakers, producers, and invited guests, along with media covering the event under standard accreditation procedures.
Following the ceremony, official winner lists were released publicly, allowing broadcasters and distributors to update programming schedules and promotional materials. Streaming availability and regional broadcast details for winning titles were confirmed separately by rights holders.
No procedural changes or disputes related to voting or eligibility were reported by organizers as of the event’s conclusion. Officials stated that the 2026 Golden Globe Awards are now formally closed, with preparations for the next awards cycle expected to begin later in the year.
